We have 3 apple trees and 2 pear trees so far. Nut grove sounds like a good plan too! Lots of beautifying will be happening around here as soon as we can get this place leveled out again. The sun now wakes us up. We never got much sun before.. :)
Dream Statehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04887193052253308295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5261759931287167066.post-10692274352918676472014-02-28T17:12:16.314-08:002014-02-28T17:12:16.314-08:00Thank you! We started to REALLY look at some of the trees, and a good portion of them looked like a danger. :/ So here is to a new beginning. Cheers!Dream Statehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04887193052253308295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5261759931287167066.post-23920598789703018762014-02-28T11:02:12.836-08:002014-02-28T11:02:12.836-08:00Oh, this is tough, but it's nearly impossible ...Oh, this is tough, but it's nearly impossible to selectively thin trees without weakening the ones that can blow where you don't want them. I'm enough of a pantheist to hate cutting down anything, but sometimes it has to be done. Now you can have an orchard, even a nut grove. You'll have more sunlight, less moss, better growing conditions, and a different set of birds. AND a water view! *sigh*
Aunt Kathynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5261759931287167066.post-78391853121442719482014-02-27T23:31:02.924-08:002014-02-27T23:31:02.924-08:00hi :)
