DIY Tissue Paper Tassel Garland Photo Backdrop

The Supplies Include:
12x18 Sheets of Colored Tissue Paper of your choice
Scotch Tape
Scissors
& Hemp Twine.

Step 1: Lay out 1 sheet of tissue paper.
Step 2: Fold the tissue paper in half.
Step 3: Fold the tissue paper every 2 1/2 inches or so.

Folded up, The tissue paper should look like the photo below.
Step 4: Start slicing half inch slices into all of the layers. Make sure that the loose end of the tissue paper is the side that you are cutting. Leave about an inch on the top uncut.

Once all of the slices are made..
Step 5: Unfold it.

Now open it up completely.
Step 6: Start rolling one side inwards from the center.

Once completely rolled up ..
Step 7: Twist the center where you had rolled only in the center.
Step 8: Twist and turn only the rolled center into a loop.

Step 9: Tape both ends together leaving an open loop. This is how you will string the garland.
All DONE! Now string that puppy up, and have a good time!

As for the "Just Married" Banner. I printed that off of the blog Elli (link- Here).  If you or anyone you know are getting married soon... Elli is quite the source of amazing FREEBIES!

    1. It is so simple to make. I made this backdrop with tissue paper I just had laying around. If I had purchased specific colors- it would have been even cuter!
